Here is a list of popular questions asked by couples. If you need to know anything else, contact me and I’ll be happy to help.
We love your work! How can we book you?
Two simple steps, a small retainer fee to secure your date and a contract for my standard terms and condition’s simply needs your signature. If you’ve already made the decision that you’d like to book you can confirm over the phone and email. I know wedding planning can take up a lot of your time, my wife and I recently went through the entire process – we got married on the 17th October 2015! With that in mind, you can secure your wedding date first and we can meet when you are less busy. If you are more comfortable with meeting me first, please contact me to arrange an appointment.
Who will photograph my wedding?
It’s very important to clarify that I personally photograph each and every wedding booking. Sometimes couples are keen to book despite the fact that I’m already booked on one or part of their many events, in which case I will assign my primary second photographer to cover the event on my behalf, my second photographers are all professionals.
How many other photographers arrive on the day?
I normally photograph every wedding with one assistant. In my opinion, the less cameras and photographers around, the better. A dedicated second photographer can be booked upon request if simultaneous coverage is required.
How long will you be there for on the day?
I’ll be there for as long as you need me, this is always discussed prior to the wedding. I can also advise on the recommended amount of coverage based on my extensive experience and after reviewing your itinerary.
When will we be able to see our wedding images?
I generally have proofs available 6-8 weeks after your final event has been photographed.
How long have you been photographing weddings?
I believe in ‘doing what you love’. I love to photograph weddings and so photography is what I do for a living. You can rest assured that you and your images will be given the time they truly deserve. I have been documenting weddings for over 6 years.
Do you provide albums?
Absolutely! I work with the best suppliers in the world to provide the most stunning handmade storybook albums for my couples and their families. Absorbing the vibrance and emotions through each printed image is the best way to relive your wedding day. I’ll personally design your album and work with you to create a coherent storytelling design with your favourites moments.
Can we select our images and approve the design before you send to print?
I’m more than happy for you to select your preferred moments for the album. I’ll always send a final proof for approval before we go to print.
Will we also get digital images?
Yes. I personally process each image individually to ensure your collection of images is enhanced to their maximum potential. Images that are designed into your storybook are given additional treatment for things such as tidying up blemishes etc.
So do you outsource your post production and album design?
As mentioned earlier, your images will be given the time they truly deserve – that’s my time, that’s who you are investing in. I have grown up using design and editing applications and love to enhance the beauty within my imagery. I also have a professional background in graphic design, primarily within the commercial beauty and fashion industry, from working with luxury brands to art directing briefs for exhibitions.
Can we book you for a pre wedding shoot?
Definitely, and I highly recommend it! Pre wedding shoots are a great way for us all to get to know each other whilst producing a series of memorable images. My style of shooting is very relaxed and informal, my aim is for the shoot to be enjoyable and fun. After the shoot there are many optional extra’s to select from too, from save-the-date and r.s.v.p. cards through to guest books, slideshows, enlargements and even more. Where are you based?
I’m based in West London.
Hopefully this has helped, now let’s talk about your wedding!
